Kentucky Peerless Distilling Co.
Distilling tradition resumed near downtown Louisville when Corky Taylor revived his family brand. With roots running back to the 1880s, his ancestors’ Peerless whiskey brand got new life in 2015 when he opened Kentucky Peerless Distilling Co. with his son Carson Taylor.
And 100 years after the original brand, Peerless bottled its first brown spirit, a rye whiskey, and began selling it in 2017. The first bourbon was released the summer of 2019.
