Castle & Key Distillery

Castle & Key was one of Kentucky’s most highly-anticipated new distilleries. Located near Frankfort, Ky., Castle & Key operates out of a castle that holds more than a century of distilling history. Where Old Taylor Distillery once sat, Castle & Key looks to product well-crafted spirits, including gin and bourbon. With lush 113-acre grounds of rolling hills and gardens, Castle & Key is now open for tours.

The Distillery Tour

Learn about how the Castle & Key team resurrected Col. E.H. Taylor’s abandoned Old Taylor Distillery site. Currently producing bourbon, rye, vodka and gin, the stunning grounds include a limestone castle, elaborate gazebos, a massive bourbon warehouse, and sunken gardens.

The Bourbon Tastings

Castle & Key’s bourbon and whiskey is currently aging, so those are not yet available for tasting. However, the distillery’s craft gin and vodka are part of the tasting.
