Your trip through the Old Forester Distillery includes all aspects of bourbon making — even the barrel! Learn about George G. Brown, see vintage bourbon bottles and get some local whiskey history. Then see bubbling tubs of mash before traveling up the elevator to see the span of Old Forester’s stories-tall copper still. Get a quick science lesson before heading to the barrel-making portion of the tour. Watch as coopers raise a barrel from start to finish, including charring the inside with live flames!
