Under the guidance of their father, brothers Steve and Paul Beam created Limestone Branch Distillery through the reconstruction of a micro-distillery reminiscent of an era gone by with authenticity in mind. They use a 150-gallon hand-hammered copper pot still to produce small, one-barrel batches of the finest product.
Steve and Paul Beam’s ancestors were distillers for five generations before Prohibition.
The first in the family to distill was Jacob Beam who sold his first barrels of corn whiskey around 1795, aptly named Old Jake Beam
The current Limestone Branch Distillery opened it’s doors on February 17, 2012.
