As one of the largest distilleries in the world, Jim Beam Distillery carries with it quite a bit of history. Visitors can walk in the footsteps of seven generations of bourbon master distillers on the Jim Beam American Stillhouse tour. They’ll also get to participate in the full bourbon production process—from mixing grains to bottling their own Jim Beam product. A tour at Jim Beam includes the distillery, warehouse, bottling line, and a small museum. The tasting room features pneumatic tasting machines with over 18 products to choose from. The gift shop has a wide array of bottles and merchandise available as well.
Jim Beam Urban Stillhouse
The Jim Beam Urban Stillhouse is located inside of Fourth Street LIVE! in downtown Louisville. This new visitor center gives guests a bourbon education while also touching on the rich history and heritage of the Beam name. It packs an impressive bourbon portfolio as well, included in your flight of four samples is the rare Jim Beam Urban Stillhouse Select.
Tours include viewing the small working distillery, bottling line, a tasting experience, and the unique opportunity to bottle your own bourbon. They’ll even guide you through how to taste bourbon while you learn Booker’s signature Kentucky Chew. Guests receive a unique Jim Beam shot glass to commemorate their visit.
